Visual Studio 2008 / .NET 3.5 Released!

19. November 2007

Today  Microsoft released the .NET Framework 3.5 and the new IDE Visual Studio 2008! This is pretty exciting for .NET developers. For those not familiar with .NET software development, I will make an analogy. For .NET dev's, this is equivalent to a car mechanic getting a brand new set of all the latest Snap-On or Craftsman tools to work on cars. It pretty exciting and there are a ton of new feature. ScottGu has summarized it pretty well on his blog. Not only are the Professional and Team version's available, but the FREE Visual Studio 2008 Express Edtion's are available as well! Laughing  I use the professional editon at work, and I use the Express version's at home for all of the sites I personally own and operate. Can't wait to get everything moved to VS 2008!
