Some people

Some people always look at the WHAT, and never bother to look at the WHY.

Such a mistake, and so frustrating for those of us who do.

What I mean is this. Say something happens between two parties, and for better or worse one of them reacts. The other party that didn't react cannot get past WHAT the reaction was long enough to look at WHY there was a reaction to begin with. To me, it's essential to look at WHY there was a reaction otherwise none of it is worth talking about. It's like leaving out half the equation. How can it be resolved without looking at WHY it happened?

It's akin to someone giving another really good, usable advice/instruction in an unhumble/condescending way. The advice will never be taken. People can't get past the tone.

Doug,

True. I guess the post was more of a very public release of frustration, rather than one trying to offer advice. Somehow posting in a public place works for me to release fustration, even if I do wind up showing my ass in the process.
