While doing my usually nightly routine of checking up on my sites, I noticed a number of them have been G-slapped - PR-wise. The PR hasn't dropped on my g-slapped sites as much as some other sites - but it's enough to get my attention. I'm not sure really why because I have never sold links on any of my sites. I can only speculate that perhaps some good links I have are coming from sites that are/were G-slapped for selling links. Upon digging a bit it certainly is a possibility.

Regardless, I fell the need to shut my mouth a bit about what it is I do. I was planning to make a series of post offering up code samples showing how I do some cool things with affiliate feeds, but apparently G is not above looking at what individuals are posting about and digging deeper into their stuff to see what they can see. That's quite shitty indeed!

When shit like this happens an under-current gets created and the people doing the stuff that got them slapped take their conversations offline and start looking for new ways skirt the obstacle. I've even thought about not blogging at all anymore, even though I haven't revealed much at all - and have few visitors. It's fun though so I will continue for now.
