Focus On Facebook - Multiple Clicks

13. November 2008

I was just going over my logs for traffic from Facebook Ads. Looking closely I noticed double clicks from multiple IP addresses! Some are even triple clicks. The number of clicks in my log exactly matches the ones Facebook is charging me for!  That means Facebook is charging me for muliple clicks on the same ad by the same user in a very short time frame - like within seconds of each other. Rip off!  They will definately be hearing from me about this.

Any information I find out regarding this issue will be posted here in the comments.

Interesting observation - I'll certainly follow your post in the Facebook forums, especially as I'm yet to be convinced by it as an effective form of advertising.

Whoa. Looks like FB is totally ripping off people. I don't hink it's worth the money to be promoting your site there.

@ Webmaster Staffing: I think Google Adwords would be a lot more help for you.
