If you are an internet marketer, unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that Facebook is freakin' white hot right now. A bad ass way to market to Facebook users is to develop your own Facebook application. The Facebook API bascially exposes just about every aspect of Facebook to anyone who wants to extend Facebook in creative ways. You are limited only by your imagination in coming up with ways to use it to market to the exploding Facebook community.
If you are a .NET developer, or if you just want to hit the ground running with Facebook and start cranking Facebook apps right away, you can get the Facebook Developer Toolkit from Microsoft. Microsoft has made it SUPER easy to start cranking out cash generating Facebook apps - I've already spun up a couple of my own!
