Ok, you've found that sweet affiliate offer you can't wait to promote, but the GoogleCash method of sending traffic directly to the merchant landing page just doesn't cut it with Google so you need to spin up a web site quick! Furthermore, you have little programming ability and don't have the dough to pay a programmer! What do you do?
I'll tell you what..head over to the ASP.NET 2.0 Starter Kits page and check out all the open source ASP.NET CMS' you can download! The've got ready built kits for blogs, business sites, community sits, clubs and organizations, as well as PayPal ready eCommerce, and classified ad sites! I use DotNetNuke for one of my sites and of course BlogEngine.NET for this very blog!
For affiliate sites, I'm sure the My Web Pages kit, as well as the personal site, and eCommerce kits would work great for developing mini sites around affilaite offers. As Amit has outlined, to make any kind of serious cash doing affiliate marketing, you need to have a full-fledge site with unique content. I think these starter kits are perfect for quick affiliate site development.
I plan on trying a few of these out for affiliate purposes, and I'll post sometime down the road on the one that I think best fits the bill for quick affiliate site deployment....stay tuned....
